22.07.2011 - Roche Diabetes Care South Africa launches new Online Platform for Healthcare Professionals

Current research shows that the internet is becoming a source of information of increasing importance especially to people working in the area of medical care. In order to provide healthcare providers with quick and easy access to important up-to-date information on topics relevant to daily diabetes therapy management and patient engagement, Roche Diabetes CareSouth Africa has now launched a new online information service under www.accu-chek.co.za/zaconnect

20.03.2011 - Structured diabetes management can significantly improve overall glycemic control

An innovative diabetes management concept including structured self-monitoring of blood glucose (SMBG), data visualization, pattern analysis and derived therapy adjustments can significantly reduce HbA1c values, improve glycemic control and enhance patients’ quality of life. These are the key findings of the 12-month data from the Structured Testing Protocol (STeP) Study, newly published in Diabetes Care
